To resolve this issue the following must be completed:
Configure/install anti-virus/anti-spyware software and scan and remove threats.
Install all Windows updates.
Install all office updates: MS Office, WordPerfect Office, Open Office.Org
Remove invalid entries from registry
Delete all temporary files.
Defragment hard drive.
PM system Remove accumulated dust from inside system and wipe down exterior.

Configure/install anti-virus and anti-spyware. Scan system for threats.
Install hardware and BIOS updates if available.
Install Windows updates.
Install office suite updates: MS Office, WordPerfect Office, Open Office.Org
Install Adobe Reader
Install Adobe Flash Player
Install Java
Install and run registry cleaner: CCleaner
Install PDF creator: Cute PDF
Install codecs: KLCodec
Install ACTS Calling Card
Restore data (if required)
Install and run Power Defragmenter
Carry-in: $115/$165
On-site: $165/$215
Re-installation of OS due to excessive infestation: Add $50
If completing the re-installation at ACTS is not an option, then an additional charge of $100 will be assessed. The reason for the up charge is due to the amount of time it takes to re-install the OS, anti-virus/anti-spyware, office suite, utilities, and all updates. This will make the total cost of service $315.
Workstation (WS) |
$70/hr, minimum 1Hr. Client will be billed by the quarter hour there after, $17.50 / ¼ Hr. |
Server |
$80/hr, minimum 1Hr. Client will be billed by the quarter hour there after, $20 / ¼ Hr. |
Pre-Paid Hours |
Clients can purchase pre-paid hours in blocks of 5 at a discount rate for workstations of $56/Hr = $280, or with a server included, $280 + $30 = $310. The hours are good for 30 days and do not roll over. If no time is used by the client, then and on-site visit will be made before the end of 30 days to ensure that all is well. This is not a monthly plan and does not include any preventative maintenance. |
Consulting |
$50/Hr and is billed by the ¼ hour. ($12.50 / ¼ Hr) |
Remote Assistance |
If problem is resolved by phone or remote access. The client will be bill by the quarter hour, WS @ $17.50 / ¼ Hr. & Servers @ $20 / ¼ Hr. |
